Jack A. Maloof had been an attorney since 1972, exclusively handling claims filed against insurance companies and their insureds. He had worked on numerous matters involving construction defect, dram shop, product liability and general liability. After graduating first in his class in law school, Mr. Maloof was associated with a law firm in New Jersey before establishing his own defense practice in 1975. Mr. Maloof joined the firm in 2014 to form Braff, Harris Sukoneck & Maloof.
An experienced litigator, he had tried cases in most New Jersey counties and appeared before the New York State and Federal Courts. He had argued cases in the New Jersey Appellate Division and New Jersey Supreme Court. In addition to appearing before the court, Mr. Maloof lectures to insurance clients on contractual indemnification, additional insured coverage issues, premise liability and other relevant topics.
Mr. Maloof had lectured before the Institute for Continuing Education on Liquor Liability matters and trial practice. He was a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the Essex County Bar Association. He was a certified Trial Attorney and an advocate of the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He was AV Peer Rated by Martindale-Hubble.
